Premium Plan – How the Subscription Works

The Premium Plan unlocks the full Hey Wedding Day experience. It gives you unlimited access to all features guests can see or interact with, including your fully visible wedding website, RSVP forms, guest messaging, hotel suggestions, seating plan, QR code tools, and all future premium features.

If your website needs to be live and accessible to your guests, you’ll need the Premium Plan.

When Do I Need the Premium Plan?

You only need the Premium Plan when guests need access to your website.

Common examples include:

  • Sharing your Save-the-Date or Invitation e-cards
  • Letting guests RSVP
  • Sending guests your website link
  • Showing travel, schedule, or hotel information
  • Allowing guests to view updates or photos

If no guests are viewing your website yet, you don’t need to pay. You can continue designing your website completely for free.

What Happens If I Cancel?

You can cancel the Premium Plan at any time.

When your subscription ends:

  • Your website stays saved
  • Your designs, guests, RSVPs and photos remain intact
  • Your QR codes remain valid
  • Your website simply won’t be publicly visible
  • Guests visiting your link will see a “Website not ready yet” message
  • You still have access to your guest list, responses, and all the planning tools.

You can still edit your website privately at any time — cancelling never removes your access to edit.

Does Cancelling Delete Anything?

No. Cancelling your plan never deletes anything you’ve created.

Your website, guests, RSVPs, designs, photos, and QR codes all remain saved and ready for when you re-activate the plan.

How Billing & Renewals Work

The Premium Plan renews automatically based on your selection:

  • Monthly or yearly billing options
  • Automatic renewal until you cancel
  • You keep access until the end of your billing period
  • No hidden fees, per-guest charges, or usage limits

Can I Pause the Subscription?

There is no formal pause button, but cancelling works the same way. If your event is far away:

  • Cancel the plan
  • Continue editing your website privately
  • Re-start the plan when you’re ready to share it

My Guests Already Received a QR Code or Link — What Happens If I Cancel?

If guests scan your QR code or visit your link after your plan expires, they’ll simply see:

“Website not ready yet.”

The QR code/link still works — the website just won’t be visible until the plan is active again.

Do QR Codes Still Work If I Cancel?

Yes. Your QR code will still lead to your link, but the website won’t show content unless the Premium Plan is active.

How Many Websites Does the Premium Plan Cover?

The Premium Plan covers one website.

If you are planning multiple events, you will need an additional subscription for each website.

Is There a Free Trial?

You can build your entire website for free and only upgrade when you're ready to make it visible to guests. This gives you full flexibility without a time limit.
