Hey Wedding Day

How do I add guests?

There are various ways to add guests to your guest list. Choose whichever suits your needs - there is no need to use them all.

  • Manually: add parties one at a time or import a spreadsheet.
  • Automatically: use Guest Collector before invitations or Open Invitation while guests RSVP.

Adding guests manually

You can add guests one party at a time or import an existing guest list from a spreadsheet.

Add one party at a time

When to use: When you already know the guests you’re inviting.

Go to Guest Management, select Add Guests, and enter the people who will receive an invitation together. You can also add their email address, telephone number, postal address and plus-one details.

A couple or family should usually be one party. Unrelated guests who will receive separate invitations should be separate parties. Each party has its own RSVP passcode and guest-specific links.

Import a spreadsheet

When to use: When your guest list is already stored in a spreadsheet.

Use Import Guest List from the Add Guests dialog. Download the template, add one guest per row, and use the same group name for people who belong to one party.

Adding guests automatically

You can also let guests provide their own details, either before you send invitations or while they complete an RSVP.

Guest Collector

When to use: When you want guests to provide their own names and contact details before invitations go out.

Guests submit their details through a public link, and you approve them before they are added to your guest list.

Open Invitation

When to use: When you don’t yet know every guest and want people to add themselves to your guest list while they RSVP.

Their guest entry is created automatically when they submit the form.

Use the methods that work for you

These options are not exclusive - you can use any combination of them. Each method adds new guests to your guest list, where you can manage everyone together.
